If driving the option taking the main roads you can make it into Cornwall in less than 6 hours from London, there are two main routes which will guide you here, one of which takes you through the country side and by Stonehenge, the other directly via motorway. Depending upon your preference you may want to consider your route, and of cause stop off location for a rest.
