What better place is there to get the three S’s? You know? Sun, Sea and Sand, perfect for your tropical wedding! The Caribbean is home to some of the most glorious weather, deepest blue oceans, white sands and the blazing sun!
However, this place isn’t small, and deciding that you want to get married here is one thing, choosing the right place is another! Thousands of weddings take place in the Caribbean, tourists from all over the world venture out for a week or two, to spend a honeymoon period afterwards as well!
So, instead of letting you eye your way around the various islands and resorts, I thought I would provide you with few of the most popular and glamorous resorts I know!
Barbados
Was it really that obvious? OK I will throw a curve ball in for the next one. Any way, Barbados plays host to several wonderful holiday resorts, but none that have quite as good reputation as the Colony Club hotel! This in my opinion the most beautiful resort in Barbados, surrounded by lush green grass, tall trees and a long beach!
Most people think of the Rex resorts, but Colony Club is my personal favorite, and one that I have heard many good things about from people I have sent there! If you book your holiday through a Tour Operator you are likely to find that you could even have your wedding thrown in for free! Subtle extras like the wedding cake and champagne all provide extra reasons to come here, but the view from the rooms is probably the most attractive!
Grenada
Okay another obvious place, but just enjoy, okay?!? In particular though, Spice Island, one of the most luxurious resorts in the Caribbean, and with one of the most stunning beaches. The weddings are a little pricy, but you definitely get your dollar’s worth! All of your marriage licenses are included and this is one of the only places to also include a cruise as well as a set of spa treatments for the bride and groom. Not that any of you would ever need it, but amazingly the hotel will also provide you with a Best Man if you really need it (Awwww).
Saint Lucia and the Cap Maison
This self proclaimed 5 and a half star hotel does really live up to its star rating. The spa treatment, wedding cake, champagne breakfast, bouquet, photos, and a short one night sunset cruise aboard the hotels very own luxury yacht! The cliff top setting is truly wonderful, not to mention somewhat idyllic. The resort is plit into villa suites that are massive, with plenty of room to move around and even private pools for each one!
