Easy Bridal Shower Finger Foods

A bridal shower is one of the most exciting events in a woman’s life.

Easy finger foods they'll love!

It’s an occasion where her closest friends and most loved relatives gather together to celebrate the upcoming milestone in her life. Bridal showers are expected to be filled with fun.

Each person symbolizes a part of the bride-to-be, probably a memory from childhood, the day she first fell in love, her college graduation or simply the different lessons from life that every person learn along the way.

So you have to remember the bridal shower is not only a celebration of an upcoming marriage, but of great friendships and genuine love. In events like such, good food is necessary. Aside from the laughs and stories, you can bet guests will remember is the kind of food that you served them.

Easy Bridal Shower Recipes

Yummy!

Yummy!

Bridal shower finger foods are really easy. There is no need for any culinary degree to be able to prepare them.

You just have to play with your imagination. You don’t even need to opt for exotic or expensive ingredients.

Just stick with the basics and let your creativity guide you.

In preparing bridal shower foods, it’s very important that you keep everything handy and simple.

Steer clear of serving a pot of roast beef or turkey, no matter how tempted you may be to do so. Your guests will never be able to play bridal shower games and chat while eating because those types of food need attention. That is why finger foods are your best bets, as you can keep your friends and family members full while they literally get to keep enjoying the party. Keeping your menu simple is important, but so is paying attention to the presentation, appearance, collaboration and taste of the food.

Presentation makes a big difference. The way you arrange and position the food has a big impact. A buffet of vegetables like broccoli, carrot sticks, zucchini, asparagus and other similar fresh veggies can be arranged in a round or oval stand with a dip in the center. The variety of colors from the vegetables attracts the attention of the guests, while their different sizes emphasize the uniqueness of each. Now, not only do you have an attractive buffet, but you also gave your guests a variety of healthy nutrition.

Here are a couple of my favorite finger food snacks to use:

Roast Beef Crackers

  • Rye crackers
  • Roast beef
  • Provolone cheese
  • Green onion

A small package of lunch meat roast beef works just fine. Put a small amount of the roast beef on your crackers. Then melt a piece of provolone cheese over the top. Slice a small piece of the green part of a green onion and criss-cross them on top. Very easy. Very quick. Yummy!

Mini White Castle Imitation Burgers

  • Hamburger
  • Garlic
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (or the mixed cheese, whichever one you prefer)
  • Mayonnaise
  • Package of dry French onion soup mix
  • Dinner rolls

Brown the hamburger in a skillet. Drain and put it in mixing bowl. Stir in cheese, mayo and soup mix. Open rolls and spoon the mixture into them. Bake at about 400 degrees about ten minutes – just enough to heat them up.
Small sandwiches will never fail you either, as well as miniature pizzas or quiches. They keep your guests full without them noticing it. These types of food are considered classic finger foods. You just have to create a variety in flavor. Perhaps you can have a vegetarian quiche, Hawaiian or white pizza and clubhouse or meat sandwiches, that way your guests have options to choose from.

One thing your bridal shower should never miss is the sweets! Whether you are thinking of cupcakes, cheesecakes, ice cream or chocolates, they are all considered important because your guests simply love them. And admit it, you love them too! Layer your sweets in a dessert stand to save space and keep everything organized. If you’re baking a big cake, slice them in small portions and stack them in the stand. That way you keep everything tidy and neat.
